We are the one stop shop for all your physical activity needs.

Physical activity plays a key role in maintaining physical and mental health and well being, the chief medical guidelines recommend 150 mins of moderate intensity physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity physical activity and 2 - 3 days muscle strengthening to to reduce risk of :

  • Dementia by up to 30%

  • Cardiovascular Disease by up to 35%

  • Type 2 Diabetes by up to 40%

  • Colon Cancer by 30%

  • Breast Cancer by 20%

  • Depression by up to 30%

(Public Health England, 2017)

150 minutes of moderate intensity can seem like a daunting task but this can be broken down into 30 minutes 5 days a week or even 3 x 10 minute brisk walks in the day. If 150 mins a week is an unachievable task then remember that any increase in your physical activity will have a positive benefits for a wide range of health outcomes. If you are currently inactive the greatest gains for you health can be found by just achieving 30 mins of moderate intensity physical activity per week, even standing from a sitting position every 20 - 30 mins and moving for 2 - 3 minutes at a time has been shown to have an impact on people's health.
